Lanburn
Lieutenant
Lanburn
Leemoy x Milford Gipsy Moth
No Visiting Mares

Lanburn Lieutenant (Lanburn
Leemoy x Milford Gipsy Moth) is the last remaining entire
stallion by Lanburn Leemoy who has been left to continue
the Marble line of his Grandmother Nettina.

Lofty was taken out in April
2006 in flat ridden and in hand classes for the first
time in 9 years and won the M&M Kilmannan
Silver Medal qualifier, Ridden Silver Medal qualifier
and Templeton Ridden Qualifier with our groom Gemma James
at the helm.
The Lanburn Leemoy x Milford
Gipsy Moth line has also been extremely successful, producing
many great ponies for under saddle work. Lanburn Lacewing,
Lofty's full sister was also a Champion.

Alex - Retired
Clonkeehan
Auraturm x Lambay Starry Eyes

Alex belongs to Pam and
was brought across from Ireland in 1989, he is now 28
years old. Pat Lyne has recently written a piece about
Alex in the 2006 BCPS Chronicle.
His future was very uncertain
as the Irish Society no longer used him. I'm happy to
say he now enjoys a life of luxury retirement!
In Ireland Alex was always
placed at Clifden and in 1982 came 3rd and shared 1st
Prize in 1983 with Killyreagh Kim for the Best kept Society
stallion.
Alex also has the most fascinating pedigree
which is short but dates back to the beginning of the
Irish Stud Book, as he was the last colt to be registered
by Clonkeehan Auratum in 1977 being conceived when Auratum
was 23. The Arab and Throughbred were brought into the
Connemara blood lines to strengthen the breed, of which
he has both with Naseel and Little Heaven.
