Ellie was bought from the Curran family in Connemara and she came across from Ireland in early 2000 having won just about everything there is to win in Ireland including Clifden beating the since then Supreme Champion of Clifden Show Bunowen Beauty as a 3 year old.

Her full brother Glencarrig Prince was Supreme Champion at Clifden 2003.

We bought Moth as a 5 year old from Johnny Lee in Moycullen as a brood mare. She has produced about 10 foals including the Champions both In-Hand and Ridden, Lanburn Lieutenant and Lanburn Lacewing.

All her offspring have superb kind loving temperaments. She is now 26 and enjoying retirement.

Grainne has won many championships In-Hand and also under saddle qualifying for the NPS Mountain and Moorland Championship at Olympia in 1994. She now teaches riders, in her semi-retirement, who come and go on the Stud.
