My pride and joy is the amazing Mossie who joined us aged 12. Proving to love dressage he learnt everything I could teach him in 6 months, he won the NPS Novice Dressage Ch in 2012. Our trainer is John Lassetter (Cadre Noir).

Bob & Margaret Blackburn established Lanburn Stud in 1971. Bob died on his way home from his beloved Ireland on 29 Aug 2014, where he’d been fishing as usual and at the Clifden show. Margaret pre-deceased him in 1998 after a period of illness.

44 Years on - Forward Thoughts

Looking To The Future

Since Dad died, I’ve never experienced such turmoil and sadness.  Paul and I miss Dad greatly, we often think of him when working at the yard; he was always there for me.

We put in the appeal about a month ago, we are waiting for an inspector to be allocated to our case.

We are using the money everyone kindly donated to pay for additional noise reports required during the appeal.  This was the cheapest way forward.

This is the final attempt.

They have already started building the houses in the field next door.

Mossie has had 2 treatments so far.  No adverse affects, yet, other than expected localised swelling where the injection is given, which they take as a good sign.

Come on Mossie!  Fingers crossed.
